The Walsh Lab has a fully funded postdoctoral position in high impact areas of suicide prevention enabled by predictive decision support, public health informatics to prevent opioid-related overdose, probabilistic phenotyping, and design and implementation science in real-world clinical systems.

We are now accepting applications for the 2021-2022 academic year with positions available for 2-years or 3-years depending on candidate interests.

We’re looking for a postdoctoral fellow with experience and interest in:

  • Applied predictive modeling on healthcare data, especially Electronic Health Records
  • A strong machine learning and biostatistical background
  • Collaborative, friendly, able to thrive in a busy, well-funded lab with multiple high impact projects in parallel
  • Python/R experience
  • Relational Database experience (a plus)
